RE theme

This half term the children will learn about the Domestic Church- the Family. The children will talk about their experience of family and we will learn about how Jesus belonged to a loving family too.

We will explore the scriptures to find out about God’s love for us as his family.

We will also learn about Baptism and belonging to the Church family.

Reading

At St Mark's our children follow a reading scheme that includes a variety of different types of reading books from various publishers to ensure they have access to a wide range of texts. These books are numbered using the Reading Recovery levels. Please help your child by reading at home as often as possible.
